The remake wasn't all bad. It's juat what it is, a remake. A revision of the classic with a twist. It was fine but I gotta stick with the classic cause its not Dumbo without ol' Timothy the Mouse. A true true friend who's always there by Dumbo's side to the very end. And let's not forget the crows, who after hearing Dumbo's backstory, they helped him too. Sure, they remake has the kids, the father, and they rest of the circus family who cared for Dumbo and his mom, but I think the classic sells it. I mean that mouse even go as far to scare off a whole herd of elephants for belittling the poor baby and find a way to prove the whole world they were wrong about Dumbo.

The Lion King kills me with Mufasa's death, but heals after that and I like it soo much. BUT THAT CARTOON and Jungle Emperor Leo (1997) just kill me again and again without any healing. This is cruel and plausibly unfair. I watched Kimba's cartoon and Jungle Emperor Leo as a kid, and I'll never let my kids watch it when they are still kids because it's a real trauma.

You know something I realized one early morning thinking about this scene was this who event is very much a traumatic experience not just for Hanna or Yuki but Ame too, even though he emerged a curious and proud boy of his hunt but had he not hit his head and forgot the part where he was literally drowning he would've ended up even more afraid of being a wolf and become more clingy to his mother. This marked a sort of detachment in Ame's mind from that of the life of a wolf and human, human life became so hard and boring but the urge to explore the wolf life over took him and life began to seem appealing to him, from hiding from life to discovering himself so that he's ready to live is something I relate to with Ame. My take with Yuki was that she was going about life with no safety measures or shyness, but when she was hit with embarrassment and shame, she changed herself and blamed it on her wolf side which wasn't the case, Yuki was a naturally curious wild child but once in the human world virtually no one was like her so she then went about life with caution as so not stand out and relive those troubling times. Which I relate to so much as that was my childhood as an undiagnosed autistic.

The Great Prince is one of the better Patrick Stewart voice performances besides King Goobot V from Jimmy Neutron and Bill Shakespeare from Gnomeo & Juliet. Winters from TMNT is a very decent from him. The worst ones from him are Mr. Woolensworth from Chicken Little & Poop from The Emoji Movie. I think Patrick Stewart should have a voice role in a Pixar movie!
